Promoting Gender Equality through Journalism

Intern with an organization founded in August 2020, dedicated to safeguarding and advancing equal rights for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. The organization provides a space for individuals of all ages to engage in activities that contribute to building a better and more equitable world. Their approach involves intervening in public discourse through research, reporting, actions, and discussions, utilizing activism and journalism to unite voices for gender equality and promote its consideration as a necessary condition for social development.

As an Isla Intern, you will contribute to various project areas:

1. Project Proposal Writing:

   - Research grant opportunities.

   - Draft documents for project proposals.

   - Formulate activities aligned with project goals.

   - Frame project outcomes.

2. Social Media:

   - Assist in managing social media platforms.

   - Develop a strategy for social media posts.

   - Work on increasing visibility through strategic approaches.

3. Investigative Journalism and Research:

   - Conduct interviews.

   - Write articles in English.

   - Collect, organize, and analyze data and interviews related to challenges, with a focus on human rights and gender discrimination in a local context.
